- WHEN VANDAL WAS 65 YEARS OLD, HE CONTACTED THE 14-YEAR-OLD VICTIM VIA FACEBOOK. HE COMMUNICATED WITH THE VICTIM ONLINE FOR APPROXIMATELY SIX DAYS. ON DAY SIX, HE ARRIVED AT THE VICTIM'S MIDDLE SCHOOL IN AN ATTEMPT TO MEET HER. HE WAS APPROACHED BY DETECTIVES AND SUBSEQUENTLY ARRESTED.
